OMG #3

Actually, I wanted to write a post about an outing with my dear jimui. We spent a wonderful day together and I really wanted to write about it, as detail as possible. But before I could have the time to fully compose it, guess what? Something happened and it made me emo until now. If you are guessing about something bad, then you are on the right track. Still remember the accident that I had a few months back? Well, I had one again the other day = =

What is wrong with me ar? Last time was due to careless-ness, this time? I fell asleep! Usually people had accident while speeding or during rainy days as the road is relatively more slippery. Me? Had an accident in a freaking JAM??! Oh lord, please kill me, or at least not me, just the devil will do. Ya, the devil who sucks all my luck away! Please kill him!! Gosh, my luck is sooooooo bad in this horse year :'(

So, we drove our cars away from the fast lane to somewhere else to avoid blocking the traffic. When I saw a Chinese man stepping out of the car, a sense of fear overwhelmed me. First time dealing with a man in an accident, I had no idea if he was a rude person or not. And most importantly, what if he was a BAD GUY? He attentively checking the car and I was observing him with a pounding heart. Not really because of the accident (not my first time after all), but he IS a man nonetheless!

However, the moment he spoke, I felt a sense of relieve. He sounded gentle, not angry or mad at all, perhaps he wasn't rushing to somewhere else? He then pointed out the damages I've caused him. Basically, his boot was dented (more serious than the one I banged last time), one of the reverse sensors was detached, and his exhaust was half dropped off. *Okay, may be I don't really know how to describe it properly. Let's see what the photos tell you...

Luckily this time when I called my dad, he picked up after a few rings. My dad's response was, "Aiyo, again ar?" (which was similar with mine..zzzz). I then passed him to the car owner. So, he decided to claim our insurance, which means, we need to go and make a report = = We left the spot after exchanging contact number and IC number. When I reached home, he called and informed me that he already made a report and reminded me to do the same, otherwise, I'll be black-listed. Hmm.. Unlike the previous Malay couple, this Mr is quite "friendly" and "kind"?

My dad accompanied me to the police station and we arrived at around 10pm. Guess how long we have waited there for the report to be done? I went home at 1am!!! Wasted 3 hours there for no apparent reason wey, for Godness sake! Then the next day morning, that Mr called me again and "reminded" me to make a report. Oh, how kind~~ Pfffft

The holes are like 2.5 inches.. Way more serious than my previous accident = =
Well, my dad was obviously extremely mad at me. Just collected my car from the workshop and within one month, accident again, and worse! From a minor dent to a bigger dent, detached sensor and exhaust, from a Viva to a Myvi.. Gosh.. If the damages and type of car are up-scaling at a rate like this, I can't imagine the day I bang a BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari etc etc.. Like I've said, I have confidence driving during normal traffic, but what if during a bloody jam??!! And I heard if I langgar the third time, they will hang my license T.T

I don't think I'll be writing another post about my transportation ordeal again, no mood to write the same thing. I don't even feel good the moment I think of driving that cute little Kancil. I don't think I'll update my blog as regularly as I have always been. May be I still have one more post regarding an outing with my dear jimui and that's it... I need time for myself, to clear my thoughts and bla bla bla...

Chiao, bye!

A Little Sense of Satisfaction

Last week was a lucky week for me. Is it because of the hurdles I faced in the beginning of the month, that I was finally rewarded some blessings? Hehe.. I've been driving my Myvi for like, 1.5 years, without checking if the tyres are of adequate pressure. They were 50% inflated for the past 18 months yet no major accidents happened when I sped. Hoho.. Luckily my dad gave me a hand with the tyres at the petrol station the other day. *Thanks ba :)

Why did I say I was lucky? Well, I'm still alive!! Haha.. Anyway, I was able to find an empty parking space within two minutes when I went to Sunway Pyramid, Empire, Mid Valley and One Utama. And the best part, I was able to locate and reach the destination within 5 minutes of walk! It's like, that particular parking was meant for me (Nah, meant for my errand to be correct.. lol)... Then, I can finally drive to KLCC all by myself! Thanks to my dad who taught me the easiest route without complicated junctions and all.. Hehe..

Secondly, its about ice-skating (again.. ikr..).. ZY might not be free after this. And if we couldn't meet up last Sunday, there would be two Groupon deals down the drain. So, before that, we went to Garage 51 for lunch! *Their wi-fi password is super cute! XD
Outdoor.
Of course we opted for indoor lar, it was super hot that time....
Left: The menu is simple yet informative :)
Right: Our table number. "You too"? Haha
Taken from our table.
Mind you, their staircase is very steep~~~
I've seen posts regarding this kind of coffee via FB many many times..
Finally, I've tried it for RM13. It's just the right taste for me. NICE! :)
Is it because I'm too used to seeing Starbucks' machines that
I feel theirs look more pro? Hoho..
Unique right?
And their shop is seriously located among all the other garages!!
Left: Awesome Garage Breakfast-19
Right: Wedges-8
Okay, our stomachs had been satisfied. Next stop, ice-skating. Well, though "that particular person" wasn't there, I'm still happy that I finally know how to stop! Hehe.. Not like emergency stop or those stunning kind of stop lar, but I could roughly feel the techniques. It's just that, I was afraid to fall down. I think the next thing I need to do, is to defeat my fear. Hmm, they say "one step at a time" right? ;) Oh, speaking of fear, I fell down last time I went there, like those super embarrassing kind of fall. My entire left arse was in intense pain and I took three days to recover. I could still feel the pain once in a while, and I wonder could there be any sequela :( So, when I went there again, it took me one hour to familiarize with the ice (it used to be only a few minutes). It's not phobia right? Right?? Anyway, we were there for 3.5 hours, the longest I've stayed! Haha.. And, it definitely worth the sore! Satisfaction checked! :)

Then, the next thing is, surprise! Apparently, ZY is really good at it! Not only she treated me lunch (which I'm already grateful enough), did she hand me a present too! (That was really unexpected) Is it because we always chat thru' LINE, that's why she chose Mr Brown for me? Haha.. Well, anyway, since she insisted to see my photos with Mr Brown, err.. Ahem.. Here you go... Hope this satisfies you *shy shy*
ZY, see or not?
Mr Brown's armpit there has a hole!! LOLOLOL
You told Winnie about my birthday? Haha.. Thanks a lot ar, ZY! Though I've long decided not to celebrate birthday, this was something else right? This wasn't celebration, it was just an ordinary hangout right? After all, we didn't touch any cake.. Haha.. And thanks for the photo that you edited for me, you made me look so pretty!! (I hope I'm not syok sendiri here.. lol) Looking forward to see you again, especially with the 2W's.. Hehe.. Enjoy your coming Hong Kong trip and have a save flight! :D

'Till next post, cheers!

A Transportation Ordeal

Hmm.. For those of you who knew I had an accident, I think a month or so back, would probably know what this post is about. Just because the sulky Malay couple didn't accept our counter-offer to fix the boot for them and opted the insurance-solution, I had to send mine for the claimant too, last last Saturday. And guess what.. The workshop needed a full one-week to attend to my car! I had no choice but to oblige. And erm, I had to drive our old Kancil to work. What a unique way to welcome my birth-month, April.. lol

Actually, the 15-year-old car has been an emergency-rescuer all the while. When we don't need it, it obediently stays in the garage. It has been quite some time since we last drove it out, so I had to wash it to make it more presentable. On a more important note, I had to literally remove all the shits myself! (ya, our house does attract countless of disobedient birds around for god-knows-why!!) Pffft...

In the first day morning, I really thought I couldn't roar it to life. But when I did and managed to drive it onto the road, I was driving it like a mad person. On an average speed of not more than 70km/h, I talked to myself, giggled and laughed all the way until I reached my destination. I mean, seriously! I can't imagine myself driving at those speed and it nearly bored me to the land of Nod. Then, when I thought I wouldn't cut lanes during the jam, I did! When I thought I wouldn't slide backward on the ramps, I did too! Luckily I didn't panic and didn't kiss the car behind me. lol

Driving a manual car is no-joke. You must make sure your left leg is always standby for the clutch just so your engine won't die off if you forget to change the gear. Both of my legs, especially the left one, started to feel numb after only two days, and my heel bone started swollen the next. I'm not really that type of person who can endure hardships eh? Wait, was it me, or was it just my leg (not legs!)? lol.. Omg.. I just realized that I'm not really a sport-car-type of person though I'm determined to have one.. Hmmm.. *must find a way to work it out*

Sometimes I just couldn't stand with the speed and pressed harder on the pedal without realizing that I almost reach 90km/h. Things were made worse when it was raining. The Kancil is too low that I was afraid that the water might just flood in. There were times when I drove across some relatively lower ground with a reasonable speed, the harsh splashes of water current against my car made me feel as if my car was going to break into pieces! (Omg, pardon me with my stupid English...)

After one week of miserable drive without the company of any music from the radio, the time to collect my baby Myvi had finally arrived. Though they didn't make much repair to my car, I'm still happy that I could finally have my car back! Thanks to the obstinate Malay couple to have my will power tested for one-full-week! Grrr...

I heard I was going to have my entire hood replaced for a new one, but I think they just knock it back and put some make-up; instead, they changed a new bumper for me (though I still doubt that it's brand new). Then, they forget to replace the scratched logo-thingy. Luckily we found out, or else they "untung" lar.. Ishh..
How could they forget? So careless.. zzzz
Now that I've gotten my car back, I can finally rest my left hand on where I want it to be (instead on a stand-by mode on the gear). On my way back home, I couldn't wait to unleash my desire to speed! It's not that fast lar, but 120km/h was way way way better than the initial 60km/h right? Fuh, I felt so syok! And more confident, haha.. Now I know why when people have the money, they buy good car to reward themselves. It's not just the brand or fame, it's the power and sound of the engine that thrills you up! I have a thing for speed, seriously. My dad drove me on 140km/h before, but that's nothing lar.. I was in the passenger seat on 180km/h before too, that's awesome!! And one more time it was abit over 200km/h, THAT really got me a bit of an adrenaline rush! Hehe.. Omg, I missed those times...

I wonder if I could ever afford myself a CRZ, and ultimately march forward to the possession of an Aventador (you may have thought that I'm crazy, I know). But in between, I'm gonna have few cozy cars first, Suzuki Swift, VW Beetle, or Mini Couper those type of cars, easy to park mar.. But but but, before that, I must also have money first!!! Argh.. Bye, works await!

'Till next post, cheers :)
